Stuart Freeman, our former secretary, and "well known author" has written a non-factual story about the beginnings of Silverdale Golf Club. It describes the lives of the original committee and members, some good, some bad.
All the characters in the book are purely fictional and any resemblance or similarity of names to anyone actually involved with the club, now or previously, is purely coincidental (I think!).
