We were all saddened to hear of the passing of Raymond Harrison who died recently following a stroke while living in his home in Spain.
Ray was indeed a stalwart of Silverdale Golf Club and was heavily involved when we extended from 9 to 12 holes in 1992 and again when we became an 18 hole course in 2002.
He was the first member to have a buggy at the Club and designed the routes for buggies to use.
He served as Captain in 1997.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his daughter Amanda and his extended family at this time.
When we get to know the details of his funeral, we will of course pass them on.
