Longest Day Challenge Sat. 19 June
On Saturday 19 June, 4 teams from Silverdale Golf Club will take on the 72 hole challenge to support Macmillan Cancer Support. The teams are as follows:
Hillbillies: Kevan Holden, Anthony Leonard, Ian Kay, Mark Etherington
Silversurfers: Andrew Schofield (Club Captain), Andrew Ideson, Neil Cross, Mike Johnson
Misfits: John McHugh, Phil Mashiter, Keith Cordukes, Paul Edmondson
Tree Huggers: James Taylor, Kane Cleland, Ben Askew, Jeff Farrow
They will be starting at first light (approx. 4:30 a.m.) and should finish around 6:30 p.m. If you are on the course, please allow the teams to play through.
A charity competition is being organized for the day with £5 entry going to the charity.
In the evening, a disco with James Taylor will take place - more details about this later, but a Bar-B-Que is planned and a giant raffle.
