Longest Day Golf Challenge

You know that golf challenge where 4 golfers play 72 holes in one day in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support? Well, its happening at Silverdale Golf Club next Saturday the 18th of June.

Four of our members - Kevan Holden, Mark Etherington, Graham Wilson and Stuart Field - are tackling the challenge this year. They expect to get started around 4:30 am and hope to be playing their 72nd hole around 5 pm. If you are in the area, why not grab a cold drink from the bar, sit on one of our picnic tables and support the lads as they finish - they will be heroes if they do!
